| | Cannot delet a file What do I have to do to be able to delete any file I choose to delete from my system? I have a personal PC in my home that nobody uses but me. Just who the hell do I need to get "Permision" from to delete a file from my HD? This Vista OS is ridiculous. I feel like I need a priest or maybe an exorcist to accomplish what took the stroke of a key or two in the old days under DOS. |

| | RE: Cannot delet a file I see you point, but I don't consider myself an idiot, and I resent being treated like one. I've used every version of MS Windows since it's first release, and it seems every release looks prettier and performs less well. I never thought I'd say this, but Vista has made me miss XP. Returning Fax & Scan would also be a tremendous improvement to Home Premium. Depending on the file and it's location, taking ownership of it will usually allow you to modify or delete the file when it will not delete by normal means. Take Ownership of file Shawn |
