Vista Tutorial - Vista, HP 6565en laptop

Hello,

I bought HP laptop 6565en and it had vista in it, and installation progress
was made just by one button, there wasn't any discs with that laptop.'
And now this Vista drives me crazy, it don't let me install important
updates, only some, and it also don't let me to install digital camera
software, also I don't let me to install skype, my excel don't work properly
and it asks some update, but when I install it says error.
So I'm wondering is it impossible to put XP to this laptop, I've heard that
there aren't suitable drivers for it.
Pleas help, I'm desperate, I spent all my money on it and I need this laptop
for my studies.
