Vista - CD/DVD Burning

CD/DVD Burning

Is there a tutorial somewhere that outlines how disc burning in Vista is
supposed to work? I can't believe things are supposed to be this hard.
Specfically:

I want to be able to mark things for burning without having a disc in the
drive

I want to build a queue that I can burn when I'm ready rather than having
files burned as I select them

I don't want the disc automatically closed after the session

IOW, I want Windows XP behavior. Where can I find instructions about how to
achieve that?

I know that I can use Nero to compile a disk but I really like the
convenience of Windows XP.

Help and Support. There are extensive instructions in there. Just type
into the search box "burn cd".

Re: CD/DVD Burning

I'm not stupid. Have you actually read the "Help" text. If it answered my
questions, I wouldn't have posted here. Is there something that actually
addresses the three points that I asked?

Re: CD/DVD Burning

I'm certainly bright enough to know that burning CDs in Vista is many of
orders harder in Vista than in XP.

I asked 3 specific questions -- if the answers are in the Help, post the
links. You do know that you can do that with Help in Vista don't you?

1.Being an obnoxious coont such as you are, I'm sure tons of people want to
answer your questions.
2.Burning is much more easier in Vista.
3.Go out and spend your husbands money and buy a good program to do what you
want.
Does that about cover it for you?
