Re: Enable Glass in Java apps

Actually, it does... Or, at least, it might.
There is a VERY vague paragraph in the GPL FAQ which I never quite
understood. According to this, nVidia's and ATI's graphics drivers for Linux
(just to give an example) can actually be illegal, depending on how you
interpret it :-)

"If the program dynamically links plug-ins, and they make function calls to
each other and share data structures, we believe they form a single program,
which must be treated as an extension of both the main program and the
plug-ins. This means the plug-ins must be released under the GPL or a
GPL-compatible free software license, and that the terms of the GPL must be
followed when those plug-ins are distributed."

From http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLAndPlugins

Thanks,

Andre Nogueira

Meh...I think Kevin ranks way up there with the Star Wars kid and,
uh...well, I can't think of anyone else, really. The difference here is
that Kevin is a willing participant.

And no, I don't think he's smart enough to engage in trolling on this sort
of scale. His replies seem rather selective (not to mention repetitive)...
