Vista - Word doc lost...Help!!!

Had a word doc with an email attachment. Instead of downloading it first, I clicked on open. Did some work in this and clicked on save. I then could not find the word doc. I checked temp internet files and nothing in there. Don't know were its gone. Somebody please help....

If you still have the e-mail that the doc was attached, it's still there (if
you didn't save the e-mail then your edits may be lost). Otherwise, it may
be very difficult to find without using search. Outlook tends to save in
it's own temp files. If you know the document name, try searching on that.
You'll can then open the document from the search window and can save to a
more logical location.

Figured it out!!!
Had to unhide all hiden files from folder options. Then go back to the file and find the save as path. Followed that and found the document.
