| | Vista Premium corrupted? or what? I have not been able to download 2 important updates for over a month now.......error codes-80073712 - 80070246 I have researched on every site.....problem seems to be affecting other Vista owners all over the place....yet no answer from MS ????? cant I have one week without a glitch in this system????? Here is a website that can help you to accomplish your threat to switch: http://www.apple.com/getamac/ Windows Update support from Microsoft seems to have been changed from unlimited and free for all to free only for non-OEM users. You could double check this if you are using OEM Vista. Here is the WU support link: http://support.microsoft.com/common/...h=1&gprid=6527 MS support is much more obsequious than newsgroup responders. Running an in place Vista Upgrade is likely to fix your WU problems: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...09235&SiteID=1 See Mark's response there, which includes how to run a system file check.
