Vista - Internet Explorer loads then freezes

The browser loads ok but freezes, notice says IE encountered problem
loading an add on FLASH.OCX (macromdedia flash plyer 6.0} i cant recall
ever trying to download anything to IE. Am not sure when this
happened.Have had this new unit a few weeks. Is there a way i can delete
IE and reinstall it? Using Vista Premium. Thanks

Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools/Manage Add-ons/Enable or Disable
Add-ons.

You will be able to View, Enable, Disable, or Delete the add-on from there.
It very likely that the problem is an outdated version of the Flash.OCX.

You can't delete,and then reinstall IE7.
It is part of the vista operating system.

Go to the above link at Adobe, who releases Flash.
Use their uninstall tool to remove it, then reinstall the latest version
from their Website.
