| | Blue screen of death I recently built a system with MSI motherboard with AMD quad core proccessor with 4 gigs of ram and an xfx nvidia vidio card with an 8400 gpu. I installed vista home premium 64 bit on one hard drive and windows xp pro 32 bit on the other.....when I boot to vista, I occasionally get a blue screen with the following message a clock interupt on secondary proccessor failed to initialize in allotted time interval. but it runns fine in windows xp any solutions |

| | Re: Blue screen of death Part of increasing Windows stability over time is adding further checks for hardware (and software) issues. This particular check is new to Vista. XP just isn't noticing the bad behavior, and you're potentially going to end up with random problems there. Vista is a lot better about preventing random problems.
