    Start Menu and Search

Somehow I've lost the search on the Start Menu. I type in one or 2 letters,
as I used to to get programs starting with those letters, and the search says
    nothing is found.

For example, typing "tu" should give me Turbotax, but it isn't found.

How can I get this function back?

Right-click the start button > Properties > Customize

Make sure 'Search programs' is checked in the list

You might want to check to make sure the search options for the start menu
are not disabled. Right click the Start Button and select
Properties/Customize Button. Scroll down to the search options.
