Meeting Space

When I launch Meeting Space (Vista Ultimate), People Near Me starts, but the
Meeting Space interface doesn't open, so I can't start / join a meeting (no
window). I haven't used it before, but assume it was working at one time...

I've checked to ensure the firewall isn't blocking it - it's not.

Does anyone know what services / ports should be enabled for Meeting Space?
My guess is that there is either a conflict with another app, or the services
/ ports aren't enabled?

I have uninstalled / reinstalled it but the result is the same.
I've tried to find information in other sites / microsoft included, but no go.

I also have Windows Live installed... and (as I understand it) Windows Live
is meant for online collaboration, while Meeting Space is meant for
face-to-face meetings. Does anyone else use both / have both installed and
functioning? (wondering if the two conflict).

Otherwise, I'm connected to a home wireless network, with IP v.4 and IP v.6
running on this laptop. The only repetitive Problem Report that seems to be
repetitive is a SQLWriter error (below):

2/16/2008 1:24 AM Windows Error Reporting Fault bucket 5971301, type 5
Event Name: ServiceHang
Response: None
Cab Id: 0

Problem signature:
P1: SQLWriter
P2: sqlwriter.exe"
P3: 0.0.0.0
P4: 10
P5: 2
P6:
P7:
P8:
P9:
P10:

Any ideas? ~ thanks in advance!

Re: Meeting Space

Have a look in Control Panel / Administartive Tools -> Services.

for Meeting Space and all related Features all the services with "peer
network " or "peer name resolution" in their name have to be running/ not be
disabled.
