Tried Windows Media PLAYER?

Works well here, esp. with the mini-mode taskbar feature.

Listening songs/music

Hi:
I am not quite content with Media Center which came with Vista.

I love to listen ONLY songs, not other Medias.
Is there any good program, even software/third party which is
simple and easy to use for listening songs?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Well I've always found 'Windows Media Player Classic' a good bet. It's small
and seems to play anything you throw at it. It's a free download.

don't see how you can go wrong with it

It's aimed at video primarily and has no audio features, like graphic
equaliser.

I have used Winamp (for music) for nearly a decade. The new version comes
with a large new skin, so I would suggest you use Classic Skins, at least at
first. It can play video these days as well, but you can choose not to
install those parts.

This is the Classic Skin that I am using at the moment. It is based on the
new standard skin:

I use Windows Media Player (not Windows Media Center) for video, but now
music as well, as v11 is actually pretty good. Finally, WMP is good again,
after its sharp downfall when v7 came out.
