| | error with ccc.exe I just upgraded from vista home premium to vista ultimate. Everything seems fine untill I get this problem: whenever I eject my ipod and turn off my laptop, there always comes a notice: " ccc.exe is still running" with a little flashing screen. It lasts for about 30 seconds before my laptop turns off. Is it something wrong with my laptop? Can I do something to make it better? Thank you people! |

| | Re: error with ccc.exe If you wanted to use a logoff script to kill the task it would speed it up. (taskkill /IM ccc.exe) Ultimate has GPEdit.msc, and you use it to choose a logoff script. --my-logoff-script.vbs-- set shell=createobject("wscript.shell") shell.run "taskkill /IM ccc.exe" --end file-- Your Ipod software does not do that without the 30 sec. timeout. -- Was this helpful? | | Re: error with ccc.exe Hi Jennifer As Charlie said you need to upgrade your Video drivers. Depending on your card ATI has some Beta drivers for Vista. The one I had to choose floored me when I saw the size. They called it a upgrade driver, but it was the whole package deal and was over 125 MB. If you don't know the card you have post back here the Make-Model of your laptop and I'll help you find the correct drivers. All the best, SG "jennifer" <jennifer@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:4F8B534F-5BF8-4831-BEDC-728C049D509B@xxxxxx Quote: >I just upgraded from vista home premium to vista ultimate. > Everything seems fine untill I get this problem: whenever I eject my ipod > and turn off my laptop, there always comes a notice: " ccc.exe is still > running" with a little flashing screen.
