| | Where Is File Size Column on Search Screen? As I've written previously to this newsgroup, I'm just starting out with Vista Home Premium, having upgraded from a Windows Me desktop. I was just trying to figure out why the heck almost one-quarter, 69 GB, of my 320 GB hard drive is full?!?! My previous desktop had a 40 GB hard drive, and only 20 GB of it were filled after seven years of use!! What is going on here? I have transferred some files from my old computer, but I haven't even started really using this desktop yet. So I'm trying to identify the culprits by performing an advanced search for files larger than 10 MB. I launch the search and get multiple files that are presumably larger than 10 MB, but there is no file-size column to sort the files found by the search. Joan |

Most of this is System Restore file copies, Vista uses about 15% of the available storage space for this. You can limit this usage, but as long as you have got available storage I would not recommend it.
