| | Re: on screen keyboard Should be in Control Panel, Ease of Access Center, or if you have a login screen click the blue Ease of Access icon on the login screen to change options there. -- Richard G. Remove the check mark from "Use on-screen keyboard". Click the Save Button. Click Apply. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience "vance the third" <vance the third@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:08EA3FC6-607C-4D20-A69F-3D2C25C9C10D@xxxxxx Quote: > does anyone know how to get rid of the on screen keyboard? i just got a > laptop and accidentally selected the option on the sign in screen to have > the > on screen keyboard pop up when entering my desktop. however, there > doen'st > seem to be any way to stop that from happening or to unselect it in the > menu. |

| | Re: on screen keyboard Thank you, thank you, Ronnie!!! I was about to post a question re: my onscreen keyboard that just up & disappeared after a power outage. I stumbled upon your post re: how to remove it which , of course, steered me in the direction of how to restore it! The keyboard is about the only thing I like about Vista... Thanks again.
