| | Vista X64 Service Pack 1 "pushed" out to my PC yesterday Hi hope somebody might be able to enlighten me. Yesterday I turned on my newly build Vista X64 machine and in the update options I was offered Service Pack 1. I downloaded and installed it and about 30 mins later was up and running again. Very pleased that it's solved one or two issues for me, however I am somewhat confussed. The general "release" date is published as being in March ! Are Microsoft offering it to some customers early in order to build up a installed user base of those already running Service pack 1? I've got no issues with that, I am just interested to know. Very happy with my 64 bit Vista by the way RH |
