right-click on the Start button, select Properties
Start Menu
Customize
you can select from this list, but I don't think you can add your own
shortcuts

Hi car54,
Welcome to Vista Forums.
You can add or remove links from the available list of items to the right side of the Start menu. This will show you how.
Start Menu - Customize
However, you cannot add any of your own in Vista without using some 3rd party program like WindowsBlinds.
