View .mdi files

Hi,
I have just purchase a new PC with Vista Business. I have lots of files
which were created in the .mdi format on my old PC with Windows XP. How do I
view these files in Vista?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: View .mdi files

Assuming you do not have, or do not wish to install, MS Office 2003 or
later, this may help:
http://www.bugysoft.com/

Otherwise:

Re: View .mdi files

Max,
Thanks for the reply. I have MS Office 2007 on my new PC. When I try to
open the .mdi file using either Word or Notepad, it comes up as jibberish.
It seems that these programs can't read the .mdi file. Any thoughts?????

Thanks again.

You need to install the optional Office Tool, Microsoft Document Imaging to
open the *.mdi files.
