Vista - Product Key ~ Activation

Hey Guys,

I downloaded my copy of Vista Beta 2 Build 5384 from Microsoft a while back,
but never got around to install it until Yesterday. I used the Key that was
sent to me by email from Microsoft.

Dual boot install my system went well. However, when I tried to Activate
the product it says that my Product key is in use.

Any Ideas? Can I get another Product Key for Evaluation?

Don't take this as being rude, but how about calling the activation phone
number and asking Microsoft?
They are the ones that need to help you get it activated.

Hey Dave,

No I don't take that as being rude... I could call, but I would rather find
the answer in the forum if I could because past experiences with Microsoft
calls take a long time....

Ok well if I don't find the answer here, I will call.

Well, the solution that has been posted here
before on more than one occasion is to call
Microsoft.

It may be a moot issue. RC1 may be available before the 14 days are over

It's not looking that way. A new TechBeta build is imminent that will not
be the RC1 release that will be released to CPP. I doubt that RC1 would
follow in fewer than four weeks after.

I took Dave's suggestion and contacted Microsoft and they provided me with a
new Product Key and all is fine now.

i dont have a key with me. i have installed with some serial available
online. can i get a key to actiavte calling MS support.
