OK for some this might be good news, Perhaps MS needs to somehow increase
sales of vista that are dwindling. What is Vista really worth though? Many
people wouldn't even go close to vista with a 10 foot pole even it was free.
Heck some people wouldn't use vista even if MS was PAYING them.. lol

I have to add, the price didnt bother me..

it was the crap quality of vista that was the whole problem...

If vista was good? I would personally wouldnt mind paying more than its
original price and pay with a smile on my face... As long as I would get
something of value.. a great product.

Vista was not great.. a great flop perhaps.

Now people pay for Vista directly or indirectly (via a new pc) and most
resent not getting XP that is faster and just works.
