Windows Defender and Anti-Virus

I run an anti virus on Vista (ie NOD32). Does this conflict with MS
Defender?
How do I automatically turn Defender off if so? Thanks.

Re: Windows Defender and Anti-Virus

No, 'spyware' and Virus are two different problems for users.

Re: Windows Defender and Anti-Virus

NOD32 is also antispyware:
http://www.eset.com/products/nod32.php

I did managed to disable Windows Defender going to >> Administrative

Tools >> Services >> then right click in Windows Defender service and

disable it, but I like to be able to remove it like with any other software.

Willy

No. They happily coexist.

In the future, please ask questions such as this in...
