I am having trouble playing a divx movie in media player 11 in the 64 bit

work with in 64bit media player I am using 5381 build thanks

Re: windows vista 64bit and media player

Its most likely you will a native 64-bit codec to watch a specific format in
the player, since Media Player 11 by default in Vista x64 build 5381,
utilizes WMP 11 64-bit. You could naviagte to :\Program Files (x86)\Windows
Media Player 32-bit and try playing the movie, see if it works then.

Re: windows vista 64bit and media player

Until a 64-bit DivX codec is available, run 32-bit WMP from "C:\Program
Files (x86)\Windows Media Player"

Just noticed this, I'll bug it, or maybe Mike Williams has answer or work
around. I had to end the process.
