shift of view

Launched Windows Vista Home Premium and view shifted one inch to the right.
Also appears to be smaller font. Can this be returned to centre and previous
type size?

Re: shift of view

your resolution - refresh rate changed, if your monitor is LCD then there is
a Best Resolution for that monitor, see your monitors manual for
specifications. For example this screen I have now works at 1680x1050, and
any other resolution looks blurry. To change the resolution right click on
an empty space of your desktop and select personalize, then SETTINGS

some LCD monitors have autoconfiguration functions that center the image
automatically (see your monitors manual on how to enable this)

Re: shift of view

Welcome to the forums!

A couple of things come to mind. One would be the monitors adjustments itself. You may be able to shift the screen to the center using the monitors external controls. Next would be to right click on the desktop and access personalize. There are many display settings here that can be tweaked here.

Let us know if this helped you.
