Dos based program

Does anyone have any suggestions on running a Dos based program in Vista?

I am trying to run an old dos based program which use to run on window XP
but it will not run in an enlarged window in Vista Premium. Any
suggestions?

Have you tried running the command prompt as Administrator? Can you tell us
what the program is? Now you have me wondering if an old CGA strip poker game
I used to have will still play...

Also, there's Virtual PC. I have one kid's program that is XP only and dual
boot seemed like overkill.
