Isn't there a way to change the behavior when dragging/dropping files. I
used to always have my files moved when I dragged them from desktop to a
folder, etc. but now they are being copied. How do I fix this?

If you're copying files from one drive / partition to another (via
left-click drag), then the default is to copy, rather than the default of
    move within the same partition.

If you drag with your right mouse a menu will pop up when you release it,
    giving you various options.

You can also use the Shift, Alt, and Ctrl keys to modify what will happen
    when you drag and drop.

Right-click on the file/s > select Copy or Cut(cut is moving altogether) > go
to destination folder > right-click Paste

You can still use CTRL for random file selection, or SHIFT for top to bottom
selection, or EDIT, select All ; just right-click on one of the selected
files then, and follow the above.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I really was thinking that there was a
way to set the DEFAULT behavior when just left-clicking and dragging - I
don't usually use the context menu. Its not a real big deal - but thanks
    anyway.
