| | RE: Windows Mail can't connect "Connection to Server failed" means that you have the wrong details in your email program! Go to Tools>Accounts>Mail> and check the details that your internet Service Provider(ISP) gave you to inset there: Your username Your Password Incoming mail server Outgoing mail server. If you don't know the above, contact your ISP. -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "Platebanger" wrote: Quote: > I can access the Internet so I know that I'm connect "OK", but when I try to > access Windows Mail I get "Connection to Server Failed", No sockett error > 10013, # ox800cccoe, > > Is there a solution without doing System Restore that I can try ? > > Thanks > Dick > > > |

| | Re: Windows Mail can't connect I can get my e-mail from the Verizon home page also On my Laptop with XP. I understand that it's a connection problem with the e-mail , I don't think it's a setup problem because I've copied all the settings from my laptop. I've installed Thunderbird and still can't connect. I suspect port 25 might be the problem. Any suggestions?
