why can't i stop one of the start up programs?

have any tried to stop thier program running during start-up? I have and it
won't work for some reason. I tried the following:
start
run
misconfig
and select the following start up softwares to stop running.
As soon as i restart my pc, it was running the program that i didn't want!
The program was a bluetooth wireless software that i tried to prevent it from
running everytime when i switch on my pc. is there another way i could
prevent it from running or do i have to uninstall it?

Go into the bluetooth wireless software itself. See what options it gives you!

Open Defender, go to Tools, then Software Explorer, select
the subject program and choose Disable.
