| | Windows Picture & Fax Viewer gone!!! In XP, with an animated gif, one can right-click | Preview and the gif displays and animates. In Vista, the "new" Windows Photo Gallery just shows the static gif non-animating (and also demonstrates other head-shakingly idiotic nonsense). How does one get rid of that Windows Photo Gallery crap and put Picture & Fax viewer on Vista????? Thanks Paddy |

I really doubt you can, as it was never a standalone program. If you really want to see animated gifs, you can always drag them onto IE, or even associate IE with .gif files. ss. |

I make animated gifs for training presentations, and like a quick check. In Redmond, they don't listen to our screams.
