stuck in windows error recovery screen, please help

    Hi everyone,

I don't know if anyone is actually up, seeing it's a saturday.

I just really need help. When I started up the computer this morning I got the windows error recovery screen; I've got five options to chose from: they all don't work.
They just take me to a screen called windows boot manager, stating that I need to insert my windows installation disc and restart my computer. and repair my computer.

    it also says: file: \windows\system32\config\system
    status : 0xc00000e9
info: windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt.

How can I fix this on my own? Because I've already had a broken harddrive and got that replaced yesterday and everything was working fine after I reinstalled everything.

The power did switch off during booting the computer this morning and after this all this bad stuff started. I find it hard to imagine that such a little event can be such a big problem?

I've tried to put in the driver cd I got with my laptop and even the recovery cd, but they both just don't boot. So I have no idea what to do next!

I'm not a computer whizz as such, obviously haha... so any help would be very much appreciated,

hope you all have a nice weekend.

    Stuck in windows error recovery.
Selected each of the 4 options (ie. safe mode, safe mode with
networking, safe mode with command promp, start windows nomally)
Each operation takes me back to a blank purple screen; purple being
the background color of my screen.
Please how can I boot successfully?

I must assume this is done purposely!
There has been plenty of advice on what to do for techarena forums issues,
    please, make use of it.
