Printing from Photo Gallery

When I print picts using photo gallery the pict is turned 90 degrees.
How can I keep that from happening or what can I do to correct it?
I regular page 8 1/2 x 11 is turned and forced to print in landscape mode,
therefore streching everything.

Also I did notice that in XP I was able to select which picts in a file I
wanted to print but now I have to print all of them in Vista.

Re: Printing from Photo Gallery

I haven't noticed the first problem...
Are you selecting the Full Page format?
Have you tried unchecking the "Fit to Frame"?
Do they look ok in the Preview?

To select which photos to print, just hold the Ctrl key and click on the
photos, then click on Print.

Re: Printing from Photo Gallery

You can select the number of photos you want to show on a page by holding
cntl and selecting them. If you choose 4 and then click print, when you
select a 4-up page, each different picture will show up in its own frame.
As to you other problem, that would be your printer driver and how you have
it set up

Re: Printing from Photo Gallery

Once I select print and the preview window displays my photo has been turned
and streched to fill the page.
If I uncheck the fit to frame it still prints in landscape mode by it is not
streched.

I am only able to view one pict at a time so I don't have the option the use
CTRL to select picts to print.

Re: Printing from Photo Gallery

While in photo gallery you have a page full of pictures. Select the ones
you want, then click print, select the format.

The frame is horizontal. If you select a photo taken in landscape view, it
should be appear upright. If you select a photo taken in portrait view,
then it should be rotated on it's side. This is normal, and both should
print just fine. Have you actually printed some that were rotated
incorrectly?

It sounds like you have opened one photo. Click on "Back to Gallery" in the
top left. In the Gallery, you can use the Shift or Ctrl keys to select
multiple photos, then click on Print.

That is not an option.
