| | Major problems after hibernation Not strictly a Vista problem but some clever person may know the answer. PC had a duff keyboard (USB) so swapped for a PS2. All fine but friend hit the hibernation key and it went into hibernation fine. Problem is it won't come back!! He tells me that when he went to power it back on he gets nothing at all, no lights, no fans etc. I seem to remember in the distant past that there was a way of getting it to come back to life by doing something with either the power or the reset button?? Any ideas please? PC was working perfectly before he hit the button! TIA cheers, Len |

TIA cheers, Len In addition to Joe's post, you should be able to press the case power button to wakeup the computer from hibernation mode. If not, try unplugging the computer for a moment, then plug it back in and try pressing the case power button. You may need to press it for a moment to. Afterwards check the link above in Joe's post to see what may be causing it. Shawn |
