I understand all your questions and i'm getting vista home premium however
how do i know that my hardware is good enough to run aero glass and the whole
os itself.

Sorry but you would have to make several upgrades to your computer to be able to run Aero without the computer slowing down considerably on you. It would be best if you stayed with Vista Basic.
