| Vista Home Premium 32bit | How to activate the Preview Pane in Windows Explorer? I click on Organize in Windows Explorer and then on Layout. There are only two options in the box which opens up: 1) Menu Bar and 2) Navigation Pane. The third option of Preview Pane does not show up. Could anyone advise how to get it? The book "Windows Vista Inside Out" by Bott, Siechert and Stinson says that one can customize Windows Mail by activating a Preview Pane so that one can preview a mail message before clicking it open for detailed reading. How to do this in WinMail? P. Jayant |

But the book I referred to earlier says ( Chapter 7 Page 228, What's what with Windows Explorer section) that "The important landmarks , optional and otherwise are as follows: Navigation Pane, Details Pane, Preview Pane, Command bar and Menu Bar." So, after reading the boook, it is not unreasonable to expect knowing how to get the Preview Pane in Windows Explorer. By the way, the book is published by Microsoft Corporation. P. Jayant |
