advice needed please

I have been running Vista on my laptop for about a year now and had no
problems but now any website I visit fills my whole screen and the toolbar
and the line at the bottom showing programs running and shortcuts has
disappeared. I know there is a way to get back to the usual display but can't
seem to do it. Anyone know what I need to do.

Thanks in advance

Les
