Vista - One PC with Two Monitors?

depends on what you want:

wider screen with two: buy the video card with software

or

if you want same thing on both screens (monitor and projector) buy a
splitter cable.

Most modern video cards support two monitors directly. If yours
doesn't, you'd need to buy a second video card.

are the two slots the blue VGI ports? that will answer your, "On the back of
PC, there are 'two' slots that seems to accommodate two monitors, although I
can NEVER be sure as I am asking, ...," concern.

also, if your video card turns out bad, buy the couple dollar signal
splitter and you should be fine so long as you want both monitors to show
the same thing.

Then you go to Control Panel - Personalization - Display Settings. Does
it see the second monitor? Most likely.

Now you just need to figure out which number Windows sees your monitor
as being. Click on identify monitor. If a big 1 appears on your screen,
Vista sees your main monitor as being number 1. If you get a 2, Vista is
seeing it as being the second. It doesn't really matter which number you
get because you can correct the order of the monitor by just dragging
the monitor icon at the top to the right position.

If you want to extend the monitor, choose the option that says 'extend
the desktop onto this monitor' on your second monitor. Then, you're done.

To explain more in detail, ...

There are two monitors, CRTs sitting side by side, and in between
there is one PC with XP.

There are two people want to use one PC, however one person prefer
'flat screen' and another prefers 'curved screen.' Then, it's getting a
problem how to share one PC with two monitors.

On the back of PC, there are 'two' slots that seems to accomodate two
monitors, although I can NEVER be sure as I am asking, ...

Is it possible to use those 'two' slots in order to hook-up two monitors?

BTW, those three are sitting on the large, same table with two chairs.

Yes, you can connect 2 monitors to a PC, if the PC has either 2 identical
video cards, or a video card with 2 outputs.
But, you can't share the PC, and have 2 people using it at the same time.
