| | Word pad doc. auto converting to Word doc. I am teaching a seniors computer class. Using wordpad because its very basic. However, when I open a saved wordpad document, it automatically opens in word. How do I stop this. I am using windows vista, and I have Office 2007 on my computers. |

Make sure you are saving them as .rtf files, rather than ..doc files, as the Vista version of WordPad no longer opens .doc files. ss. |
