| | ___%$# Shared printer on XP Home inaccessibel from Vista Home Premium Hi, I can't access a shared printer on XP Home NL from a Vista Home Premium NL laptop. It seems to be a rights problem. I can make a shared printer on the Vista machine. When printing to it. I briefly see the print job in the printer window (queue) on the XP machine. Username and passwaord are equal. Workgroup is equal. I can use a share on the XP home machine from Vista allthough it's very slow accessing I tried: - guest account enabled on both machines. - \system32\spool all rightts for everyone - reinstalled the XP home - http://www.vistabits.nl/fout_0x00000...erkprinter.htm - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947236 - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941542/ - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937697/en-us TIA Greetings/ ________/Rein http://www.reindejong.nl |
