| Guest | DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - tcpip.sys Every once in a while I get a BSOD with: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL TCPIP.SYS Not exactly sure what else is listed as it goes so fast. After numerous searches I have found it to be one (or perhaps more) many things: Bad Driver Zone Alarm Hardware Issue etc.. Reinstalled my Wireless card drivers, video card drivers which are the only ones I have updated. No help obviously. Any ideas? Here are my Specs: (Brand New Dell Inspiron 1720) Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8300 @ 2.40GHz SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 2 Gigs DDR2 |

| Guest | Re: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - tcpip.sys How is your wireless connected? You say card, is it an add-on PCI or PCI-e? If you also have onboard LAN you should disable those. Try an earlier driver for the card if the current one is problematic. | Guest | Re: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - tcpip.sys zonealarm has been known to add about a trillion problems to windows... its one of the most crappy programs out there... I wouldnt get near it with a 10 foot stick try uninstalling it, and see if you get the problem again. If you do, its not zonealarm, if you dont then zonealarm is the problem for one more time.... | Guest | Re: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - tcpip.sys Going to try and remove zone alarm. I assume that it is what causes the problem as it never happened before that point. Any suggestions for anti virus / spyware? I would prefer to have both in one. Anything I suppose except norton, which I cannot stand. Caused many problems for me in the past. |

| Newbie | Re: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - tcpip.sys I'm having the same issue, but my laptop won't power up now at all - just gets to the home screen briefly, then straight onto BSOD each time I reboot. I've tried in both normal, and safe modes. Was trying to install Zonealarm when it happened too! All help will be greatly appreciated! |
