| | OK then - where is Vista SP1??? What did I miss? Isn't it the 18th of March. hasn't that date been 'verified' days ago? I looked at the MS download site and also Windows Update. I thought for sure I would see many posts about it or maybe the lack of it on this ng...... Am I in the Twilight Zone and don't even realize it??? Charlie in Mississippi |

Relax, wait a couple of days, and then when demand is down, or better yet MS releases a stand-alone download, go get SP1. Personally, I'd never use Windows Update to install a Service Pack on a MS OS. It's just an unnecessary layer that can introduce problems to the SP install process. -- Peace! | | Re: OK then - where is Vista SP1??? While I admit that I have not seen it yet on WU, I spent much of last weekend uninstalling Language Packs in preparation for this. Each of the 40 or so language had to be uninstalled one at a time with a reboot between each one.
