How many times does the update for SP1 reboot your system? When I updated my old laptop to XP SP1, it did it several times.

I believe I had two, maybe three reboots, although I don't think it ever
came all the way back to the desktop fully loaded in any of them (until the
last). The warning at the beginning of the run did state the installation
would reboot the system several times though, so no big deal.

Mine had three reboots. Doing well and a good bit faster, even though I was
happy before.

Same experience as you Rach. Took 45 minutes including download at 8 AM ET
today . Two boots plus the final...makes 3. A bit faster, no noticeable
bad behaviors.
