Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know they had the 64bit version available
yet.

Hi Ronnie,

I have the file in my Vista 64 bit Ultimate edition, but the SP1 did not create a shortcut for it in "Administrative Tools" like it did in the beta versions of the SP1. Plus, it does not work in the 64 bit anymore, even when trying to run the "recdisc.exe" from an elevated command prompt. It does not bother me though since I have a retail Vista DVD that will do the same thing.

The file is also in the 32bit version, but it is only 188KB. Not sure why
they would even leave it in there?

Ronnie,

Not sure why they would since it is not functional. It's 212 KB in the 64 bit version. Does it work in the 32 bit version?

Shawn,

Not functional in 32 bit either. It's there but doesn't do anything.

Thanks Joe. I guess it was just an oversight.
