safari and firefox 3 put IE7 to shame!

bad brower that ie7! It was made same time as vista.. NO WONDER!!! lol the
worst part about ie7 in my opinion, is not that its not compliant with the
    standard
nor that its insecure... but because of its horrible EXTREMELY horrible
    interface design!

I really like the IE7 interface. Much better than IE6 and the default
    Firefox one.

I dunno about that, 2 years or so is pretty long between browser releases at
    the moment.

IE8 was also part of those tests and I didn't see it do that much better
than IE7....now granted it's still beta...but oh wait, so is Firefox 3.

guys ff 3 is so much faster than 2 and ie7 its incredible

i downloaded the portable test version here
    http://portableapps.com/apps/interne..._portable/test

its a no- install aka portable version you can run from your disk

that way you can test it without it touching you other browsers or settings

    can a fox fly? SURE!!!!

Where do people get the idea that IE7 is "slow". How much faster than
    "instantly" can you get?

I have Safari (forever in beta) 3, and use it for sites that IE7 doesn't
change the font size correctly. It's certainly no faster here than IE.
    Both are pretty much instant.

But I like the looks of IE7 better. Safari still uses the ugly gray window
frame - it (and Itunes) totally ignores your Aero settings. Very annoying.
I wish both looked/behaved like Windows apps, not OS X apps. If I want OS
    X I'll reboot and run OS X!

i dont like the safari interface or font rendering either... thats not the
    point,i was talking about speed.

    ff 3b4 is great though!

    > But I like the looks of IE7 better
the ie7 interface should win an award of most horrid interface design of the
    decade

i use the avantbrowser shell (www.avantbrowser.com) because the ie7
    interface sucks big time
