Updates are downloaded behind the scenes as you use your computer. If you shut off your
computer while an update is being downloaded, the download process will resume the next
time you turn your computer back on and it is connected to the Internet.
Haven't you got a friend/relative with high speed internet access who can download it for
you.

| I have dial-up service, which is randomly interrupted about
| once a week. My SP-1 download is estimated at 20+ hours.
| What happens 5, 10, or 15 hours into that download if my
| dial-up connection is broken? Does the download process
| have a mechanism so than when reconnected, and the download
| is initiated again, it resumes where it left off - or does
| the whole process start again from zero?
