Vista problems explained?

AP reported: Microsoft Contractors to Take 7 Days Off.
AP reported statements by Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos:

> He stressed that the contractors' work was being delayed, not canceled.

Contractors are building Vista?

> "We want to be fiscally responsible here," Gellos said.

Microsoft doesn't have enough money to build Vista right?

Re: Vista problems explained?

This was reported a few months back and it was denied by Microsoft.

Re: Vista problems explained?

Could be, but yesterday's news was repeated today in dead tree editions of
newspapers and Microsoft's denial wasn't repeated yet.

What does that mean? MS doesn't have to pay their contract workers?
Since when? They've had contract workers for what...20 years now? MS has
enough cash to buy the entire planet!
