| Guest | Vista - can it format and creat partitions and not delete data ? I'm hoping its moved on from XP and so i won't need software like Acronis Disk Director ? if so - which versions are so equipped ? thanks |

| Guest | Re: Vista - can it format and creat partitions and not delete data ? Vista can shrink and grow partition size with diskmgmt.msc. Doing this to the system drive can be touchy. To change the size with the XP version on diskmgmt.msc you would need to save data, remove the partition, and re-partition the drive. -- Was this helpful? Then click the Ratings button.
