| | No sound now Hi, I bought a new lap top 3 months ago running VISTA home premium and everything has been great but suddenly there is no sounds from my lap top. I have realtek and device manager says all is working and everything in sound (speakers etc) is set up ok, but when I hit test button there is no sound. Please can anyone give advice, many thanks |

| | Re: No sound now I had this problem after an audio driver update failed to install correctly. Check your update logs and see if one tried and failed. I fixed it by going to the audio driver website and downloaded/installed the driver manually instead of thru Windows update and the problem was solved.
