| | Mouse cursor not hitten when typing Hi, In Control Panel "Mouse" there is a setting claiming to "hide mouse cursor when typing on keyboard". I've never seen this option working on any Windows PC I had. The mouse cursor is always in my way when I'm typing into a text field I've just set focus to by clicking on it. How can I get this option to work as expected? TIA, Axel Dahmen |

| | RE: Mouse cursor not hitten when typing It only works in Windows or Office documents, not on the Web. Try it in a Word or Notepad document. | | Re: Mouse cursor not hitten when typing Hi Mary, I'm baffled... You are absolutely right. I tried your statement on several windows and it seems only Windows' API "EDIT" windows support this feature. And Office does this manually apparently.... I've added a bug report to MS Connect to have this feature working in Visual Studio and, thus, in other Windows' windows as well. I guess they're using Rich Text Edit and the HTML Edit controls to display VS content which in turn don't support this feature yet. Thanks for this valuable information, Mary.
