registering 3rd party programs

I register (unlock) quicken and a game and it is registered until I open the
program again. Then I have to unlock it again. Since it happens with more
than one program I assume it's a Vista problem.

Re: registering 3rd party programs

Rightclick a shortcut to the app, and 'run as administrator' to unlock it.

RE: registering 3rd party programs

After looking on Intuit's site -- this is what I discovered. Right click on
the shortcut, click on properties, click on compatibility, choice windows xp
then check the box for run as administrator. That seems to have worked.
