Vista - HELPPPPP!!!!

OK, I am having problems with my installer. I commonly get error 2738. I have
been trying to download software for itunes, an HP critical update, and for a
new phone but each time I try I keep getting an "installer error". I am at my
last nerve. Is there anyone who can help. I am running Vista Ultimate
(64-bit). I have tried running as administrator and though the .dll say
registered successful, when I try to run the download it doesn't go through.
I just need some real help right now!!! HEEEEELLLLLLP!

I found one solution for this error.

Here are the steps:

1. Run a command prompt in administrator mode (Start/All Programs/Accessories/ right click on Command Prompt, select Run As Administrator)
2. type: cd %systemroot%\system32
3. type: regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Note, regsvr32, not regsrv32. You should see a dialog stating the registration succeeded.

I hope this helps.

It's possible that the install for those things simple got corrupted, and
now is 'half way' installed. Use this utility to remove them, if you see
them in the install list, and try again.
