Vista - Vista and the Thomson Speedtouch 330 Modem

Hi Everyone, would love to download the latest build but dare not as before
it would not work with my Speedtouch 330 modem, so do any of you know if this
has been sorted yet in this latest beta?

I have a speedtouch 330 and when i installed the latest build I had instant
internet connection.

Wow that's great Luke it means then that I should have no problems with this
version. Are you with talktalk or doesn't it matter who your ISP is?

Ditch the speedtouch as Vista Beta 2 cannot operate it, besides USB modems
are not the way to go.. pick yourself up a Netgear ADSL firewall router
(ethernet), much faster.. instantly recognisable with Vista. Check out the
settings for routers from your service provider although my router
automatically detected everything, took less than 2 minutes to install.

Thanks for that Nellie, how much is it, and what if my ISP won't let me use
it? They supplied the Speedtouch 330.
