Task Manager

I noticed that I do not have the shutdown, restart, etc. options in Task
Manager like I used to. I'm not sure if I ever had it in this particular
computer, but I did have it in my previous computer which ran XP Home. I am
currently running a dual boot with Vista Ultimate and XP Pro, both x86. Is
there a way to get this option to show in the Task Manager window in XP &
Vista?

Thanks
Mark

Re: Task Manager

Hi,

No, you didn't miss something. Those options were removed from Task Manager
in Vista.

Hi Mark,

In addition to Rick's post, these are some alternative ways that you can use instead.

Shutdown Vista from the Keyboard

Hope this helps,
Shawn
